Tim is a graduate of Western Michigan University where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.  Following a tour of duty in the U.S. Army he spent 18 years in the building materials industry with two Fortune 500 firms.  Tim has been a resident of Georgia since 1989 and has been a financial services consultant since 1991.  He is a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), a Registered Representative, an Investment Advisor Representative, a Licensed Insurance Agent,  a Chartered Federal Employee Benefits Consultant (ChFEBC), and has successfully completed the two year Financial Planner Program at Oglethorpe University.  To stay on top of his field and develop his professional skills, Tim regularly attends industry training and certification programs. 

As a partner in the firm, he regularly conducts retirement educational programs on the use of financial products and services for federal employees, educators, and public utility employees.  He strongly emphasizes income security, tax advantaged accumulation and distribution, and prudent healthcare cost management strategies for retirees.  Additionally, charitable giving strategies are offered when appropriate.

Maintaining a strong sense of community and a solid professional foundation are very important to Tim.  He has been actively involved in financial industry organizations, community civic groups, and his local church.  In his leisure, Tim enjoys golf, tennis, gardening, travel, and politics.  He and his family have resided in Cumming, Georgia for over 20 years.
